Seattle Hi-Fi Introduces the New Lumin P1 Network Player

Seattle Hi-Fi, with support from Source Systems, Lumin Music’s North American importer and distributor, has been selected as the first US dealer to debut the new Lumin P1, a streaming DAC with analog and digital inputs (including HDMI), and the femto clock from the X1.

The P1 is Lumin’s most versatile product to date. Call it an audio hub, or a digital preamp, or a preamp with a DAC. The Lumin P1 can serve multiple roles in an ever-evolving high-end audio system. It can function as a high-end digital transport for an external DAC or use it as a digital source for a preamp or integrated amp. With onboard high-quality LEEDH volume processing, it can even be connected directly to a power amp.

With one XLR and one RCA stereo input, you can integrate a turntable or other analog source. Also, the P1 features HDMI passthrough, allowing it to integrate with home cinema systems.

Commenting on the demo, Lumin Music’s US importer Mark Gurvey stated: “This will be the first time that US consumers and audiophiles will be able to listen to the new P1, as well as get to appreciate the power and value of our Lumin AMP.
